The south West meet was discussed at the AGM and a return to Bucklers Hard was on the table. However Poole was mentioned as we have not been there for a few years. Previous Meets at Poole have launched and stayed near Wareham but this has caused problems getting as far as Brownsea Island in the past and being able to return the same day. So it has been suggested that to avoid this issue we look into the possibility of using the town quay marina which would enable us to get out of the harbour and visit Swanage Studland or Bournemouth. Some members were not able to join the SW Meet last year due to the dates, so this year please can you get in touch with Richard Heaton or John Staples to discuss the plans before they are finalised.
